General accounting with an emphasis in Accounts Payable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Reconcile monthly activity, including but not limited to, prepaid, AR, AP, petty cash, counter cash for all offices, employee deductions, and employee advances.
Perform general ledger reconciliations.
Perform 3-way match on invoices and route to appropriate department for review and approval.
Review and process payments.
Answer inquiries regarding invoices, vendors, payments, etc.
Create purchase orders or assist other departments with purchase orders.
Process annual 1099s.
Provide support for the cash posting and work orders processes.
Prepare monthly/yearly reports.
Assist with the annual audit.
Qualifications:
Requires relevant experience in accounting or finance.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Experience with iVUE preferred.
Must be proficient in Excel, Word, 10-key.
Must demonstrate attention to detail.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all areas of the company and with vendors.

Central Electric obtains this supply through Portland, Oregon based PNGC Power, a generation and transmission cooperative owned by 14 Northwest electric distribution cooperative utilities, including CEC.
CEC provides electric service to portions of Deschutes, Crook, Jefferson, Grant, Linn, Wasco and Lake counties, in central and eastern Oregon.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
