The Accounting Specialist collaborates with accounting, finance, and accounts payable departments, ensuring timely and accurate financial information.
This role involves daily accounting tasks, such as researching and posting transactions to the general ledger, as well as performing month-end reconciliations and other accounting duties, including financial reporting support.
Responsibilities Include:
Daily Accounting:
Performs daily accounting tasks that involve researching and posting transactions to the general ledger.
Month-end Reconciliations:
Performs all month-end reconciliations necessary to close the books.
Other Monthly Activities:
Performs a variety of other accounting-related duties including providing financial reporting support.

What You Can Offer:
Education High School diploma or GED required Accounting degree preferred Specialized knowledge Basic understanding of GAAP and bookkeeping required Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel Abilities Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, to various audiences.
Ability to creatively solve problems and work under time constraints with minimal supervision.
Ability to take initiative on work duties without immediate direction.
Ability to utilize basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division to perform calculations.
