POSITION Overview:
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist will provide counseling services including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for clients experiencing social/behavioral/emotional issues.
This position does not directly manage any other caregivers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:
Establish a therapeutic relationship with clients seeking outpatient behavioral health services to help facilitate client focused change and resolution of client identified issues.
Practice in compliance with the State of Oregon Board of Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors and/or Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and Therapists Code of Ethics.
Respect the privacy and protect the confidentiality of clients.
Maintain the boundaries of the professional discipline.
Perform assessment of client's social, behavioral, emotional, and family situation and client's goals in seeking outpatient behavioral health services.
Document assessment in the client record, including insurance, professional, and department required elements of clinical assessments.
Complete and document a multiaxial diagnosis using DSM diagnosis codes.
Complete a treatment plan that is individualized and measurable in compliance with the department and regulatory standards.
Provide therapeutic interventions using a variety of evidence based treatment modalities and strategies.
Accurately document services rendered and complete charge documentation using standard CPT codes.
Provide documentation of all client interactions in accordance with hospital, state, federal and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to departmental financial success by maintaining productivity and by following departmental intake, billing, documentation, and evaluation standards.
Participate in professional training and consultation on an ongoing basis.

Oregon licensure as a clinical social worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) or the ability to become licensed as a LCSW, LPC or LMFT in Oregon prior to starting employment if currently licensed in another state.
