Avionics Job Summary & Purpose:
AI Systems is looking for an Avionics Manager with aspirations to grow as a leader within our business.
From troubleshooting a customer's complaint to installing a custom harness, this position calls for a driven individual who is detail-oriented and ready to take charge in a competitive industry.
Salaries dependent upon experience.
Essential Functions:
An Avionics Manager's primary functions include, but are not limited to:
-Manage a group of 2-3 avionics technicians.
- Repair and modify aircraft avionics and electrical components.
- Utilize technical knowledge of avionics and electrical systems in troubleshooting practices and corrective measures.
-Build aircraft harnesses and instrument panels to specification using engineering documents.
- Read and comprehend wire diagrams and schematics.
- Communicate and collaborate on plans for various projects.
Minimum
Qualifications:
- High School diploma (Required) - 5
years field experience (Required) - Self-motivated - Critical thinking for problem solving - Ability to follow written/verbal instructions Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Physically able to lift up to 100 lbs - Physically able to work in tight and/or uncomfortable spaces - Work hours in excess of 40 hours per week may be required at times.
