You'll get what you see, and you'll love what you get! As store manager you will work closely with store ownership to fulfill Arome's mission and strive for established store goals such as annual sales and average ticket.
Specific elements of our operations under the purview of the Store Manager include:
Floor Management Maintain store in an orderly fashion and delegate tasks to ensure store cleanliness, regulatory compliance, and adequate supply of needed items such as shopping bags, cash change, etc.
Metrics for measurement will be passing all ODA inspections, regular completion of opening/closing duties and cleaning duties.
Delegate or complete window decoration at least once every other month.
Staff management Developing schedules on a bi-monthly basis and coordinating schedules for staff absences.
Notifying owner of projected gaps in staffing which would require hiring.
o Train new staff on Arome policy, sales and customer service.
Notify owner when store policy documents require updating.
Create agendas for staff meetings and run meeting.
Inventory Management Ordering of core product lines - Tea, Spices, Oils/Vin, Gourmet, Wine.
Maintain full stock of products on the retail floor and indicate ordering needs for kitchen wares on ordering boards.
Maintain inventory of supplies for cleaning and packaging.
Manage receipt of incoming inventory, check-in items, price and organize storage.
Update pricing on inventory when supplier price increases occur and keep supplier list up to date.
Customer Experience & Sales Maintain exceptional level of customer service and ensure all staff meet this level of service as well.
Metrics for measurement will be to maintain a 4.
8 star rating or higher on Google and Facebook.
Sales Performance - Maintain store sales performance based on average ticket sales and gross sale goals.
Target annual average ticket is $44 or higher.
Events - Plan and schedule store events and samplings.
Schedule at least 1 sampling, 1 demonstration and one First Friday per month.
Work with owner for larger special events such as anniversary party.
