Position Overview:
The Production Technician is responsible for the sorting, preparation and cleaning of medical devices in any specified work team for each batch of devices and the completion of all associated documentation for each lot.
The Production Technician will follow all established protocols and procedures including wearing full body protective gear.
Essential Functions :
Performs tasks and work assignments utilizing Medline ReNewal's Standard Operating Procedures and FDA guidelines; Sorts, prepares and cleans USED medical devices within a specified area of Production within a lot Involves bending, stooping, lifting containers to access devices.
Trouble-shoots any discrepancies in work orders that may arise and follows through to resolution; Completes all processing documentation accurately and timely; Provides clear and concise communication to Supervisor/Lead at all times, especially when issues arise or a problem is foreseen; Follows all departmental/area safety protocol while performing associated duties in any specified area of Production; Follows all Quality and Documentation procedures/protocols for non-conforming product or material; Consistently meets the standards for quality and productivity; Partner and communicate with all departments and other areas of Production outside of assigned area in a positive and professional manner to accomplish assignments and or tasks; Will perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications General Qualifications are as follows.
Some positions may have further requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent NCRC Silver Level or above preferred (contact Oregon Employment Office for more information) Previous manufacturing experience preferred Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 10 hrs per day Ability to work overtime as needed Able to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs intermittently Required to perform repetitive tasks/motions.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
