GS-11 level:
Applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least to the GS-9 grade level; OR a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a related field such as Logistics Management or Supply Management. OR an appropriate combination of specialized experience and graduate level education (beyond what is required for a master's degree, i.e., more than 36 semester hours leading to a Ph.D.). Examples of specialized experience for the GS-11 are:
participated in the development and maintenance of the Cache Management Plan and Incident Support policies, guidelines and standards. Coordinated portions of the units program of work and participated in projecting personnel, budget, and equipment needs. Participated in evaluating on-going emergency situations and establishing levels of personnel and equipment needed or which will likely be required to meet the support needs of an incident or complex of incidents. Provided Fire Loss policy implementation and reports for all Type 1, 2 and 3 incidents. Maintained accurate records of work completed, materials used and costs involved in compliance with established Cache Management and Inventory Plans. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENT:
If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
