District Operations and Maintenance Manager

As a District Operations and Maintenance Manager, you will:
Direct the work of the District, assuming accountability for the success of its programs, functions, and activities; and monitors the progress of the organization toward its goals and periodically evaluating and making appropriate adjustments. Ensure compliance with important strategic BPA and Federal programs and key targets in areas such as environmental stewardship, cultural resource studies, Clean Water Act, and NERC CIP physical and cyber security protection mandates. Serve as a key member of the Transmission Field Services leadership team. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSA qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
Experience leading, overseeing, and administering electrical transmission or distribution maintenance, operations, constructions, or engineering support activities, such as line maintenance, substation operations, substation maintenance, protective relaying and control, communication systems or closely related electrical transmission or distiribution activities to ensure safe and reliable operations. There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-14 level. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
